Mrs. Rebecca Lynn Hancock, 39, entered into rest on Tuesday March 28, 2023.

Rebecca was the kindest woman; she would always help others before herself. She brightened every room she walked in, and never met a stranger. She enjoyed gardening and caring for her flowers. She was an animal lover, especially her cats, goats, and chickens. She was a good Christain woman, who loved her God. More than anything she loved being a mom and cared deeply for her family. She will be remembered for being a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend.

She is preceded in death by her father, Vernon Dale Johnston Jr.; and brother, Gary Swindel Jr.

She is survived by her husband Charles Arthur Hancock; parents, Tammy and Gary Swindell Sr.; sister, Alicia Michelle (James Thomas) Williams; brother, Vernon Dale Johnston III; children, John Peyton Pierce, Jaydon Paul Pierce; Logan Mackenzie Pierce; step-children, Caleb Hancock, Joshua Hancock, and Jeremiah Hancock; and 4 grandchildren.

A Memorial Service, celebrating her life will be held in the chapel of Napier Funeral Home on Thursday April 6, 2023 at 1pm with Rev. Jon Leopard officiating.
