NEW-Ms. Rachel New, age 44, of Trenton, S.C., daughter of the late Ernest Doolittle and the late Mary Ann New, entered into rest on Tuesday, March 6, 2012. She is survived by daughters, Lyn Davis of Woodruff, S.C. and Allison Cox of Spartanburg, S.C.; a son, Joseph Annadale of Spartanburg, S.C.; sisters, April (Wray) Grimes of Trenton, S.C., Vickie (Dennis) Davis of Gloverville, S.C. and Tammy Powell of North Augusta, S.C.; brothers, Scott Gymer of Clearwater, S.C., Ernie Doolittle of Gloverville, S. C. and Richard Doolitle of Augusta, Ga.; ten grandchildren. She was born in Aiken, S.C. on August 13, 1967. She was of the Pentecostal faith. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends who loved her very much; however, she shall live on forever in their hearts. She was the “Wind Beneath Their Wingsâ€. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this Wednesday evening, March 7th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A service celebrating her life will be held on Thursday, March 8, 2012 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home with Rev. Oscar Whiteside, Jr. officiating. The interment will follow at the Graniteville Cemetery. Memorials, in Rachel’s honor, may be made to the American Cancer Society, 128 Stonemark Lane, Colmbia, S.C. 29210.
