CAWLEY-Pixie Payne Cawley, age 50, of Gloverville, S.C., loving wife of James Cawley, Sr. and daughter of the late Earl Payne and the late Theola Lunsford Payne, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, September 20, 2015. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Candace (Daniel) Lott of Aiken, S.C.; a son, James (Jamie) Cawley, Jr. of Graniteville, S.C.; sisters, Joy Penland of Asheville, N.C., Karen Rogers of Swannanoa, N.C. and Janice Payne of Asheville, N.C.; two grandchildren, Anna Marie Faith Cawley and Lawson Lott. She was preceded in death by a sister Gloria Jean Simpson. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Bath, S.C. She was a dedicated housewife, a loving and caring Mom who loved her family with all of her heart. She shall be greatly missed by her family and all whose lives she touched during her short lifespan; however, death cannot destroy precious memories, and she shall live on forever in the hearts of her loved ones. She has made that great transition to her new Heavenly home in a land where the soul shall never die, and we never have to say goodbye in a land of endless tomorrows. A memorial service will be held in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home this Friday evening, September 25, 2015 at 6:00 PM with Rev. Michael A. Brendel officiating. The interment will be private.
