Phillip H. Proctor

PROCTOR-Mr. Phillip H. Proctor, age 61, of Gloverville, S.C., son of the late Leroy Proctor and the late Mayo Barden Proctor, entered into rest on Sunday, July 15, 2012. He is survived by sisters, Phyllis Proctor Hadden Halter and her husband, Thomas of North Augusta, S.C. and Sylvia Proctor Raborn and her husband Jerry of Aiken, S.C.; brothers, Tommy Proctor and his wife, Eileen of Warrenville, S.C. and Jerry Proctor and his wife, Lynn of Beech Island, S.C. and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jackie Proctor. He was born in and was a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. He was a self-employed designer-florist by trade, and he also owned Horse Creek Valley Antiques. He was a dedicated member and ordained deacon of Full Gospel Redemption Center in Langley, S.C. He also drove the church bus, picking up those who didn’t have a way to get to church. He was a loving brother who was always giving to his fellowman; infact, he help feed the homeless, ministered to prisoners and just anything he could to help anyone who was in need. Yes, you could say that he was definitely a good Samaritan, and he will be greatly missed by his family, his church family and all whose lives he touched during the 61 years that God granted him on this earth. A service celebrating his life will be held on Wednesday, July 18th at 2:00 PM at Full Gospel Redemption Center with Rev. Chis Williams officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service. Memorials, in Phillip’s honor, may be made to his church at P. O. Box 324, Langley, S.C. 29834.
