TESNEAIR-Mrs. Peggy James Tesneair, age 58 of Gloverville, S.C., beloved wife of Cecil Tesneair and daughter of Grace Spoon Doolittle and the late Calvin DeWitt James, entered into rest on Tuesday, December 20, 2011. In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by daughters and their spouses, Bridget Elaine (Tommy) Tice and Angel (Damien) Smiley both of Virginia, Elizabeth Ashley (Gabe) Hollows of Gloverville, S.C. and Leslie Tatum of N.C.; sons, Greg Clark Carpenter, Jr., Atlanta, Ga. and Wesley Adam (Benita) Carpenter of Greensboro, Ga.; six grandchildren, Madison, Kristain, Aiden, Wyatt, Matthew and DJ. She was born in Seneca, S.C. but has been a lifelong resident of Aiken County. She was a retired self-employed seamstress. She was a dedicated member of Gloverville First Baptist Church; always involved in all church activities, such as teaching Sunday School, serving as Director of Vacation Bible School and Director of Women’s Mission. She was a real people person, always putting everyone’s needs above her own. She was also a loving mother, wife and grandmother, and she will surely be missed by her family, many friends and all whose lives she touched during the 58 short years that God granted her on this earth; however death is not the end, as God has promised eternal life for those who believe on him. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at the Gloverville First Baptist Church on Friday, December 23, 2011 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Jimmy Napier officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service. The interment will be private. Napier Funeral Home, 315 Main Street, Graniteville, S.C. 29829 is in charge of the funeral arrangements. You can visit the online guest register at www.napierfuneralhomeinc.com.
