Peggy Jane Wahl Chalker

Mrs. Peggy Jane Wahl Chalker, age 53, of Gloverville, S.C., wife for 31 wonderful years to Danny Chalker and daughter of the late Jack D. Wall and the late Eva Jane Murphy Wall, entered into rest at her residence on Sunday, November 5, 2017. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Amy Marie Chalker of Gloverville, S.C.; a brother, Jack Wahl of North Augusta, S.C. and three grandchildren, Alysa Gregory, Alvin Gregory and Mattie Chalker. She was preceded in death by a son, Danny Chalker, Jr. and a sister, Patti Wahl. She was born in Ft. Hood, Texas but has been a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. She retired from Asco. She was of the Pentecostal Faith and was a member of Born Again Believers Church. Her husband stated that she enjoyed sewing and making things, and she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She had a great personality and just loved everybody. A person of her caliber shall be greatly missed by her family and everybody whose lives she touched during the 53 years that God granted her on this earth. Death is not the end for Peggy, as she has just made that great transition to her new Heavenly home, where all is joy and peace in a land of endless tomorrows. A graveside service will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Graniteville, S.C. on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at 3:00 PM with Pastor Mickey Huff officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until 2:45 PM, at which time the Funeral Procession will depart for the service at the graveside. The Pallbearers will be Alvin Gregory, Jerry Hall, Terry Ricks, T. J. Ricks, Zach Ford, David Norris and Chris Odom.
