Peggie Elizabeth Rogers Saunders

Mrs. Peggie Elizabeth Rogers Saunders, 78, entered into rest on Sunday March 10, 2024 surrounded by her family.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Larry Joe Saunders Sr.; parents, Wallace and Mabel English; two brothers; son, Kenneth Lee Rogers; and granddaughter, Ashley K. Angeley.

She is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth Rogers (Eddie Chavis), Katelyn Saunders (James Dale); grandchildren, Shannon Blackmon (Kevin) Spires, Kenneth (Virginia) Rogers, Tanna (Mark) Farnitano; great grandchildren, Cameron McBrayer, Bradley Blackmon, Brooklyn Blackmon, Karson Rogers, Roman Farnitano; and several great great grandchildren.

Born in Vidalia, G.A. Peggie was a longtime resident of Aiken County. She worked with Mark Taylor and Associates for over 30 years as an Insurance Agent, a job she took immense pride in. She enjoyed working in her garden and fishing. More than anything she loved her family. She will be remembered for being a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.

A Funeral Service, celebrating her life will be held in the chapel of Napier Funeral Home & Crematory on Friday March 15, 2024 at 12 P.M. The burial will follow immediately at The Historic Bethany Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be Kenneth Rogers, Cameron McBrayer, Bradley Blackmon, Eddie Chavis, James Dale, Kevin Spires, William Voigt, and David Coursey.
