Patsy Jean Key

December 31, 1969 — February 27, 2011

KEY-Mrs. Patsy Jean Toole Key, age 62, of Graniteville, S.C., beloved wife of Joseph Key, Jr. and daughter of the late Curtis Alvin Toole and the late Bertha Moyer Toole, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, February 27, 2010. In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughters, Sherry Pitts and Angie Willis; a son, Joey Key, III all of Graniteville; sisters, Joyce LaMaster of Graniteville and Linda Leopard of Gloverville; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was born in Gloverville and was a lifelong resident of Aiken County. She was a member of Burnnettown Baptist Church. She was retired from Salem Carpet Mills in Trenton, S.C. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister and was fondly known by all as “Nanny.” She shall be greatly missed by her family, friends and all whose lives she touched during the 62 years that God granted her on this earth; but “Nanny will live on in their hearts. A service celebrating her life will be held on Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home with Rev. Marion Britton officiating. The interment will follow at the Graniteville Cemetery. The pallbearers will be Ricky Key, Lee Key, Paul Cooper, Terry Gilman, Dennis Porter and Steve Cato. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, tonight, Monday, February 28th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and following the service at the residence. Memorials, in Mrs. Key’s honor, may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 2711 Middleburg Dr., Columbia, S.C. 29204.
