ODESSER B. CORLEY

December 31, 1969 — July 5, 2010

CORLEY- Entered into eternal rest on Monday, July 5, 2010, Mrs. Odesser Burbage Corley of Warrenville, S. C., beloved wife of 63 years to James H. Corley, Sr. and daughter of the late James O. Burbage and the late Essie Bell Burbage. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Nancy Corley of Aiken, S. C.; a daughter and son-in-law, Jackie and John Warner of Travelers Rest, S. C.; a brother and sister-in-law, Woodrow and Elaine Burbage of Aiken, S. C.; three grandchildren, Janet Chiles, James Corley, III and John Corley; four great grandchildren, Caroline Childs, Payne Childs, Mason Corley and Canon Corley. She was born in and lived most of her life in Aiken County, S. C. She was a member of Town Creek Baptist Church in Aiken. Prior to joining Town Creek Baptist Church, she was a member of Warrenville First Baptist, where she taught the children’s Sunday School Class for many years. She was an exceptional wife, loving mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed by her family and all whose lives she touched along the way. Life for Mrs. Odesser has not ended; she has just made a transition to her new Heavenly home. A celebration of her life service will be held on Thursday, July 8, 2010 at 10:00 AM at Town Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Clint Smith officiating. The interment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens in Graniteville, S. C. The pallbearers will be Mark Burbage, Mario Booth, Kenny Chriswell, Kevin Chriswell, Kerry Chriswell and Alec Chriswell. The family will receive friends at Napier Funeral Home tonight, Wednesday, July 7th from 6:30 to 8:30 PM. Memorials, in Mrs. Corley’s honor, may be made to the Alzeheimer’s Association, 3223 Sunset Blvd., Suite 100, West Columbia, S. C. 29169 or to Regency Hospice, 105 Summerwood Way, Suite D, Aiken, S.
