Obera Troutman goff

GOFF-Mrs. Obera Troutman Goff, age 93, of Aiken, S. C., wife of the late George B. Goff and daughter of the late Henry Troutman and the late Eugenia Padgett Troutman, entered into rest and went to be with Jesus on His birthday, December 25, 2013. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Dorothy and Hasting Snipes of Aiken, S.C.; a son and daughter-in-law, Rev. Cecil and Geraldine Goff of Graniteville, S.C.; a brother, Harold Troutman of Aiken, S.C.; thirteen grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren. She was born in Lexington, S.C. but has been a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. She was a housewife, loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She shall be greatly missed by her family and all whose lives she touched during the 93 precious years that God granted her on this earth. She finished life’s journey on Christmas Day and is now at peace with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. A service, celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2013 at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Lawson and Rev. Randy Goff officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until the hour of service. The interment will follow the service at the Graniteville Cemetery. The Pallbearers will be grandsons: Ernie Beckner, DeWayne Beckner, DeWitt Beckner, Robert Goff, Earl Goff and a nephew, Timothy “Tim” Troutman.
