Norris E. Moseley

MOSELEY-Mr. Norris E. Moseley, age 66, of Aiken, S.C., loving husband for 47 years to Dianne Sanders Moseley and son of the late Hampton Moseley and the late Phronsie Huckabee Brooks answered God’s call and entered into eternal rest on Friday, January 31, 21014. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Darin Moseley, a granddaughter, Hallie-Danielle Moseley both of Aiken, S.C.; brothers, Elmer Moseley of Arizona and Jimmy Moseley of Florida. He was born in and was a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. He was well known in the Aiken area as a self-employed barber for many years. He and his son Darin were also residential builders. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather who had great sense of humor. He loved cars, especially older model Corvettes. He also loved to chase a little white ball; yes, Norris was an avid golfer. He shall be greatly missed by his family and many friends; however, death is not the end for the Christian, as God has promised eternal life for all who believe and trust in Him. He has just made that great transition to his new Heavenly home, where there will be no more pain nor sorrow for all is joy and peace in that land. Death cannot destroy precious memories and Norris shall live on forever in the hearts of his friends and loved ones. The family will receive friends at South Aiken Church of God on Sunday, February 9, 2014 from 3:30 PM until the hour of Service which will be held in the Church Sanctuary at 5:00 PM with Bishop Bruce Fox and Pastor Kenny Murphy officiating. The entombment will be held on Monday, February 10th at 2:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Everyone wishing to attend the entombment is asked to meet at the Cemetery by 1:45 PM. The pallbearers will be nephews, Brandon Foster, Travis Scott and Tony Hunt; also Conner Greene, Branson Cole, Hunter Knight, Cameron Pruit and Micah Clark will serve as pallbearers. Memorials, in his honor, may be made to the Georgia Regents Cancer Center, 1411 Laney Walker Boulevard, Augusta, Ga. 30912.
