Nina McGhee Britt

BRITT-Mrs. Nina McGhee Britt, age 70, of Clearwater, S.C., loving wife for 54 years to Wilbur L. Britt and daughter of the late Herbert M. McGhee and the late Nellie Jordan McGhee, entered into eternal rest on Monday, May 20, 2013. In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughters, Angela B. Smith of Petticoat Junction, S.C. and Michele (Terry) Padgett of Warrenville, S.C.; a son, Russell L. Britt of Clearwater, S.C.; a sister, Brenda McGhee (Charles) Murphy of Gloverville, S.C.; grandchildren, Chad Britt, Corey Britt, Josh Smith and Brooke Padgett and five great grandchildren. She was born in and was a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S. C. She was a member of Clearwater First Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, homemaker, mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother, who loved her family; especially her grandchildren, with all her heart. She shall be greatly missed by her family and all whose lives she touched during the 70 precious years that God granted her on this earth; however life does not end with death, as God has promised eternal life for all who believe and trust in Him. She has just made that transition to her new Heavenly home with no more pain or sorrow for all is peace and joy in that land and no sad goodbyes are ever spoken. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this Wednesday evening, May 22nd from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A service celebrating her life and home going will be held in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home on Thursday, May 23, 2013 at 3:00 PM with Pastor Bruce Fox and Rev. John Bolin officiating. The entombment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Graniteville. The Pallbearers will be Chad Britt, Corey Britt, Josh Smith, Ronald Smith, Charles Murphy and Kenny Murphy.
