Nellie Fields Brown

BROWN-Mrs. Nellie Nicole Fields Brown, age 70, of Aiken, S. C., beloved wife of 19 years to Clyde W. Brown and daughter of the late Jack Fields and the late Edith Chriswell, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, April 19, 2011. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Melanie and Russ Proctor of Vaucluse; sons and daughters-in-law, Daniel and Donna Randall of Aiken, Jerry and Gina Randall of Graniteville, Paul and Cheryl Randall of New Ellenton; sisters and brothers-in-law, Marie and Wayne Spires of Warrenville, Patsy and Paul Larabee of North Augusta, Mary and Joe Foltzer of Maryland; daughters-in-law, Barbara Randall of Langley, Kim Randall of Williston; eighteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. She was born in and has been a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S. C. She did volunteer work for the National Federation for the Blind for many years. She was a member of Gloverville Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother. She loved life, and she loved her family; and they in turn loved her very much. She shall be greatly missed by her family, many friends and all whose lives she touched during the 70 years that God granted her on this earth; however, there is a consolation in knowing that life does not end with death for the gift of God is eternal life for all who believe on Him. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2011 at 5:00 PM in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home with Chaplain Martha Vinson officiating. The interment will be private. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Memorial contributions, in Mrs. Brown’s honor, may be made to the funeral home to assist with the funeral expenses. Napier Funeral Home, 315 Main Street, Graniteville, S.
