HALL- Nadine Bates Hall, age 89, of Aiken, S.C., wife of the late Lawrence Hall and daughter of the late Ben Bates and the late Daisy Casnetti Bates,went to be with her Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ on her birthday, October 8, 2012. She is survived by a son, Richard Hall (Aka, Balljoint) of Aiken; daughters, Sylvia Creed and Nancy (Kenneth) Cockrell both of Aiken; brothers, Thomas (Margie) Bates of Aiken and Bob (Carol) Bates of Lexington, S.C.; a sister, Rivie Bolen of Sumter, S.C.; grandchildren, Henry (Teresa) Hall, Tim (Armetta) Hall, Leigh Johnson, Todd Cockrell and Tina (Joey) Patsourakos; eleven great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by sisters, Inez Keisler, Thelma Mundy and a brother,W. B. Bates. She was born in Windsor, S.C. and has been a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. She was retired from Hickman Division of Graniteville Company. Her hobbies included going to yard sales, making crafts, and she loved to crochet; infact she made all the great grands their first baby blankets. For many years, she was responsible for making many of her hometown lady friends beautiful by selling them avon, while at the same time sharing conversation and precious moments with them. Yes, she was, indeed, a special lady, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, and she shall be greatly missed by her family and all whose lives she touched during the 89 years that God granted her on this earth; however life for her has not ended, as God has promised eternal life for all who believe on Him. She is now enjoying her new Heavenly home, where there is no more pain or sorrow. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this Wednesday evening, October 10th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A service celebrating her life will be held on Thursday, October 11th at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home with Rev. J. B. Redd officiating. The interment will follow at the Vaucluse Cemetery. The pallbearers will be Tommy Davis, Frank Spradley, John Reynolds, Roland Rivera, Richard Johnson and Glen Spradley.
