Obituary
Milledge Robert Coursey, age 74, of Aiken, S.C., loving husband of Marilyn Hancock Coursey and son of the late Horace Coursey and the late Vera Altman Coursey Ryals, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, February 21, 2021. In addition to his wife of forty-four years, he is survived by his sons, Andrew (Jacqueline) Coursey and David (DeAnn) Coursey; a brother, Horace Clyde (Mary) Coursey and three grandchildren; Jeremy, Cameron and Lila Coursey. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth and Billy Coursey. He was born in Vaucluse, S.C. and was a lifelong resident of Aiken County. He was a member of Fellowship of Truth Baptist Church in Graniteville, S.C. During his working years, he was a machine operator for Club Car. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He shall be greatly missed by his family, friends and all whose lives he touched during the 74 years that God granted him on this earth. Death cannot destroy precious memories, and he shall live on forever in the hearts of his loved ones. The family will receive friends this Thursday evening, February 25th from 5:00 until 7:00 PM at the Funeral Home. A service, celebrating his life and homegoing, will be held in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home on Friday, February 26, 2021 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Bobby Broach officiating. The interment will follow at the Vaucluse Cemetery in Vaucluse, S. C. Memorials, in his honor, may be made to the Building Fund of Fellowship of Truth Baptist Church, 106 Mt. Zion Rd., Graniteville, S. C. 29829. Frank Spradley, Jr., Jeremy, Cameron and Lila Coursey will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.
