Mrs. Mildred Rumley Peebles entered into rest Sunday, October 23, 2022.
Born to the late Ruby Rowe and Wade Rumley in Aiken County, worked as a CNA at Cartersville Medical Center before her retirement. She loved her work as a nurse and loved to take care of people, especially her family. She loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren immensely. She will be remembered for being a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Libby Harden.
She is survived be her husband, of 45 years, Ronnie Peebles Sr.; son, Ronnie Dwight (April) Peebles Jr.; daughter, Jennifer Marie (Jonathan) Churchwell; brother, J.W. Rumley; sisters, Mary Sikes, Debra Rumley, Ruby Weisert; grandchildren, Karina (Steven) Wayne, Brittany Peebles, Vanessa Peebles, Noriana Peebles, Jeremiah Willingham, Jacob Churchwell, Joshua Churchwell, Jasmine Churchwell; and great-grandchild, Sylvi Wayne.
A Funeral Service, celebrating her life, will be held at the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home Saturday October 29, 2022 at 1 P.M. with Pastor Jason Anglin to officiate. The burial will follow immediately at the Historic Graniteville Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening October 28, 2022 from 5 P.M. to 7 P.M.
Pallbearers will be Joshua Churchwell, Jeremiah Willingham, Donald Stephens, Austin Bennett, Cody Huchens, and Steven Wayne.
