Michael David Riggs

RIGGS-Entered into rest Friday, June 4, 2010, Mr. Michael David Riggs, age 40, of Trenton, S. C., son of Betty Penrow Riggs and the late Danny Riggs. He is survived by a son, Michael Dewayne Riggs; daughters, Allison Riggs, Kimberly Riggs and April Riggs all of Gloverville, S. C.; brothers, Stephen Riggs and Alex Riggs both of Trenton, S. C. and Charlie Riggs of Gloverville, S. C. and a number of nieces and nephews. He was born in Augusta, Ga., but has been a lifelong resident of Edgefield County. He was a carpenter by trade. He was a member of Christian Heritage Church in Graniteville. He loved his family very much, and they in turn loved him. He shall be greatly missed by his family and all whose lives he touched along the way. A celebration of his life service will be held on Monday, June 7, 2010 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home with Rev. Stephen Phillips and Rev. Jody Padgett officiating. The interment will be private. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 noon until the hour of service on Monday. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the funeral home to help offset the funeral expenses.
