KISER-Mr. Michael Ray Kiser, Sr., age 54, of Aiken, S.C., loving husband for 28 years to Wandra Arthur Kiser and son of the late Robert Lee Kiser and the late Sara Scism Kiser, entered into eternal rest on Friday, June 7, 2013. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Michael Ray Kiser, Jr. of Aiken, S.C. and his fiancée, Meagan Smith; a godson, Noah Rebelo of New York; a goddaughter, Olivia Moseley of New York, a brother and sister-in-law, Dan and Sandy Kiser of California; a sister and brother-in-law, Teresa and Wes Hammack of North Carolina ; a number of nieces and nephews; aunts and uncles, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Lee Kiser, III and a sister, Mary Kay Kiser. He was born in Columbus, Georgia but has been a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. He had a talent of playing the spoons, which was the reason he was tagged with the nickname “The Spoon manâ€. He was a devoted worker for 27 years with Pepperidge Farm in Aiken, S.C. He was a dedicated husband, father, brother and uncle, who loved his family unconditionally, and he will truly be missed by all whose lives he touched during his lifetime; however, death cannot destroy precious memories, and he shall live on forever in everyone’s hearts. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening, June 10th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A service celebrating his life will be held in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 11th at 2:00 PM. The interment will be private.
