KINNEY-Mattie Hall Kinney, age 87, of Aiken, S.C., daughter of the late John C. Hall, Sr. and the late Carrie Bell Whittle Hall, entered into eternal rest at Lake Crossing Nursing Home in Appling, Ga. on Thursday, November 12, 2015. She is survived by a daughter, Sharon Curley of Lincolnton, Ga.; a son, Michael K. Lepp, Sr. of Aiken, S.C.; a sister, Mary H. Williams of Warrenville, S.C.; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Johnny, James and Henry Hall and a sister, Lois H. Shields. She was born in Graniteville, S.C. and has spent most of her life in Aiken County. S. C. During her working days, she was a retail cashier in Aiken, S.C. She was a lifetime member of St. John’s United Methodist Church in Graniteville, S.C. She was a homemaker who loved her family with all of her heart. She also had a love for music and enjoyed singing very much. The family stated that she was a unique lady, and she shall be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched during the 87 precious years that God granted her on this earth. Her memories shall live on forever in the hearts of her loved ones. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, November 21, 2015 from 11:00 AM until 12:30 PM; at which time, the funeral procession will leave the funeral home for the graveside service at the Graniteville Cemetery with Rev.
