Mary Yvette Schrader

Ms. Mary Yvette Schrader, 66, entered into rest Saturday June 10, 2023.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Clavings and Mary Hooper.

She is survived by her children, Brandon Schrader (Airam Brownlee) and Brianna Schrader (Dylan Newton); sister Ann Powell; grandchildren, Brayden Newton, Marianna Newton, Reya Newton, and Elliott Schrader; nieces and nephews, Travis Burkett, Ryan Burkett, Justin Burkett, Tiffany James, and Cierra Gleaton; and Dean Braddy and Holden Bufford, who she raised like her own children.

Mary worked as a Pre-K teacher at Trinity UMC in Aiken, S.C. for 28 years, and also nannied for countless families, caring for and teaching children was her passion. She enjoyed listening to Oldies music, and was a huge Clemson Tigers football fan, always making sure to never miss a game. She loved her dogs Titi, Binky, and Doug. More than anything she loved her family, her children, and her grandchildren especially. She would do anything for her babies, always putting them before herself. She will be missed dearly by all who knew her, and will be remembered for being a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

A memorial service honoring her life will be held on Friday June 16, 2023 at 1pm at Christian Heritage Church in Graniteville.
