Ms. Mary Napier, age 95, entered into eternal rest on Friday, January 26th, 2018. She was the widow of the late William Henry Napier and the daughter of the late Rufus Padgett and the late Eunice Ott Padgett. She is survived by sons; Philip A. (Melody) Napier of Graniteville, S.C., Richard (Nancy) Napier of Aiken, S.C. and Daryl (Glinda) Napier of Graniteville, S.C.; a daughter, Billie Jo Costanza of Rolesville, N.C.; nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Marsha Jeanne Napier, a granddaughter, Sarie Napier and sisters, Ora Mae Jordan, Vera Duncan, Lucille Smith and Evelyn Austin. She was born in Graniteville, S.C. and was a lifetime resident of Aiken County, S.C. She was retired from Graniteville Company. She was a member of Graniteville First Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She shall be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched during the 95 years that God granted her on this earth. Death cannot destroy precious memories, and she shall live on forever in the hearts of her family and loved ones. Earth’s loss is truly Heaven’s gain. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home this Monday evening, January 29th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A service, celebrating her life and homegoing, will be held in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Todd Sessions officiating, assisted by her grandson, Philip A. Napier, Jr. The interment will follow at the Historical Graniteville Cemetery. The Pallbearers will be Grady Friday, Philip Napier, Jr., Daryl Napier II, Eric Carroll, Daniel Forbes and Sammy Jordan. Memorials, in her honor, may be made to Graniteville First Baptist Church, 28 Montgomery St., Graniteville, S.C. 29829. The family wishes to extend a “Heartfelt Thank You” to the Staff at Trinity on Laurens for the care that they gave their loved one during her stay there.
