Mary Ellen Randall McMahan

December 31, 1969 — April 22, 2013

MCMAHAN– Mrs. Mary Ellen Randall McMahan, age 90, of Aiken, S.C., wife of the late Howard T. “Ben” McMahan and daughter of the late James Randall and the late Emma Murray Randall, entered into eternal rest on Monday, April 22, 2013. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Earl Clinton of Aiken; a grandson, Howard E. “Ned” Fincher and his wife, Stacey; three great grandchildren, Aaron, Lindsey and Cody Fincher. She was born in Charlotte, N. C. but has been a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. She was a member of Memorial Baptist Church in Aiken. Her family stated that she was an unselfish, giving person, who would literally give you the shirt off her back, if she thought you needed it. Yes, what a better place this world would be if there were more people like her. She was also a special mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend who shall be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched during the 90 precious years that God granted her on this earth; however, life does not end with death, as God has promised eternal life for all who believe in Him. She has just made that great transition to her new Heavenly home where life and love never ends. A celebration of her life service will be held in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home on Thursday, April 25th at 1:00 PM with Rev. Bobby Coleman officiating. The interment will follow at Aiken Memorial Park in Aiken, S.C. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Memorials, in Mrs. McMahan’s honor, may be made to St. Jude Tribute Program, P. O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN. 38148-0142 or to the American Heart Association, 190 Knox Abbott Dr, Cayce, SC 29033 . The family would like to extend a special “Thank You” to the staff and employees of Pepper Hill Nursing Center for the wonderful care that they gave to their loved one during her stay there. Napier Funeral Home, Inc., 315 Main Street, Graniteville, S.C. 29829 is in charge of the funeral arrangements. You can visit the online guest register at www.napierfuneralhomeinc.com.
