Mary Busbee Boyd

BOYD-Mrs. Mary Virginia Busbee Boyd, age 67, of Aiken, S.C., loving wife for 20 years to Kenneth L. Boyd, Sr. and daughter of the late James W. Busbee and the late Gloria Koon Busbee, entered into eternal rest at her residence on Tuesday, June 3, 2014. In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughters, Patricia Dyches of Windsor, S.C., Pamela Williams of Wagener, S.C., Donna Lowe, Amy Boyd and Tabatha Hearn all of Warrenville, S.C. and Cindy Shannon of Aiken, S.C.; a sister, Gloria Jean (Ralph) Gardner of Warrenville, S.C.; 20 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. She was born in and was a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. She was of the Pentecostal Faith. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend who loved her family very much. She shall be greatly missed by her family and all whose lives she touched during the 67 years that God granted her on this earth; however, death cannot destroy precious memories, and she shall live on forever in the hearts of her loved ones. She has finished her journey and is now at peace with her Maker in a land with no more tears and where no more sad goodbyes are ever spoken. A service celebrating her life will be held in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home on Friday, June 6, 2014 at 5:00 PM with Rev. Stephen Phillips and Rev. Chris Lowe officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. The interment will follow the service at the Graniteville Cemetery. The Pallbearers will be Brent Hiers, Brian Hiers, Brad Tager, Shannon Lowe, James Lowe, Jr. and Brannon Lowe.
