Marvin E. "Buddy" Koon, Jr., age 76, entered into rest on Tuesday March 25, 2025.

He is survived by his children, Tracy (Rodney) Boyd, Chris (Kelly) Koon; grandchildren, Jacob Koon, Christen Koon, Trace DeFillips, Lucas DeFillips; sister, Janice Barksdale; and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ann Edwards Koon; and parents, Marvin E., Sr. and Evelyn P. Koon.

A funeral service honoring his life will be held in the chapel of Napier Funeral Home on Friday March 28, 2025 at 2pm with Rev. Clint Jackson officiating. The interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be: Trace DeFillips, Jacob Koon, Chandler Boyd, Darren Boyd, Josh Barksdale and Anthony Spinks.
