Martha, Eleanor Anderson Porter

PORTER-Ms. Martha Eleanor Anderson Porter, age 85, of Williston, S.C., loving wife of the late Charlie Monroe Porter and daughter of the late Howard Anderson and the late Lorraine Hughes Anderson, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, October 12, 2014. She is survived by sons, George Alvin DeMedicis of Williston, S.C., James M. DeMedicis and Loren DeMedicis both of North Augusta, S.C.; a daughter, Teresa McClary of Warrenville, S.C.; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was born in Aiken County, S.C. and was a resident of Barnwell County, S.C. She was of the Baptist Faith. She was a Registered Nurse having worked for many years with the Old Aiken Hospital. She was a homemaker, wonderful wife, mother, sister and grandmother to many children other than her own. She shall be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched during her lifetime; however, she has finished life’s journey and is now at peace with the Lord, Jesus Christ. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, October 16, 2014 from 11:00 AM until 11:45 AM at which time the funeral procession will be leaving the funeral home for the graveside service at the Warrenville Cemetery at 12:00 Noon with Rev.
