Marion Barney Fulmer

Marion Barney Fulmer was born January 1st, 1936 to Mary Agnes and Barney Fulmer and he went to heaven to be with his Lord Jesus Christ on June 14, 2021. Both his parents and two of his siblings, Hazel Janette and Lula Marie preceded him to heaven. He is having a joyous reunion with them today.

Marion is survived by the love of his life his wife Shirley, his son Gary, his daughter-in-law Mary Jane, his two grandsons Brett and Kevin, his brothers Carroll, Mack, Zack, Gene Ray, I.C., and his sisters Mary, and Sandra and many nieces and nephews.
Marion served his country in the military. He was a loving devoted husband, father and sibling. Marion and Shirley were married for over 62 years and he completely adored her. He was a simple, generous, selfless, hardworking and extremely humble man but most of all he was a devoted disciple of Jesus Christ. He lived his life every day to serve the Lord.
He graduated from high school and self-taught himself about electronics. He opened and ran Fulmer’s TV for decades. Marion loved to work with his hands and there was no project that he could not find a way to get done. It was amazing to watch his brilliant mind at work.
We are sad for him leaving us but the saints in heaven are rejoicing. As the Apostle Paul wrote in 2nd Timothy, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness which the Lord, the righteous Judge will award me on that day –and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing”. That can be said of my Father also.
A funeral service celebrating his life will be held on Thursday June 17, 2021 at 11am in the chapel of Napier Funeral Home. The interment is to follow at Aiken Memorial Gardens. The family will greet friends following the service.
