Marilyn E. Peavy Rich

RICH-Marilyn E. Peavy Rich, age 77, of Aiken, S.C., wife of the late John J. Rich, Sr. and daughter of the late John V. Peavy and the late Lilly Bell Cooper Peavy, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, December 9, 2014. She is survived by daughters, Jeannie (Theron) Burroughs of Gallivants Ferry, S.C., Saretta Mishoe of Mullins, S.C. and Becky (Audie) Leopard of Warrenville, S.C.; sons, John J. Rich, Jr. of Aiken, S.C. and Michael G. Rich of New Ellenton, S.C.; a sister, Bobbie Jean Peavy of Galivants Ferry, S.C.; brothers, Billy Peavy of Aynor, S.C., Joseph F. Peavy of Conway, S.C. and Larry W. Peavy of Gallivants Ferry, S.C.; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and very special friends, Vonda Adamson and Jennifer Davis. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Robert B. Peavy and James T. Peavy and a daughter, Sherry McInnis. She was of the Baptist Faith. A service, celebrating her life, will be held in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Joseph F. Peavy officiating. The interment will follow at the Graniteville Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
