GREEN-Marie Hawkins Green, age 90, of Gloverville, S.C., wife of the late, Paul F. Green and daughter of the late Frank Hawkins and the late Lillie Day Hawkins, entered into eternal rest on the Lord’s Day, Sunday, May 17, 2015. She is survived by sons, Billy (Mary Ellen) Wells of Gloverville, S.C. and Adrian (Martha) Wells of Monetta, S.C.; a brother, Huliett Hawkins of Aiken, S.C.; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by sisters, Alice Jackson, Lelia Thurmond and Ethel Garvin; brothers, Brunson Hawkins, Eugene Hawkins and James Hawkins. She retired from Graniteville Company with 40 years of dedicated service. She was a member of Christian Heritage Church in Graniteville. Her family stated that she was always loving and always loved by everyone, and she would do anything for anybody that needed her assistance. Yes, a person with her great qualities and so much love in her heart for her fellowman, shall be greatly missed by her family, friends and all whose lives she touched during the 90 precious years that god granted her on this earth. She has finished life’s journey and is now at peace with her Maker, the Lord Jesus Christ. Earth’s loss is truly Heaven’s gain. A service celebrating her life and homegoing will be held at Christian Heritage Church in Graniteville, S.C. this Wednesday evening, May 20, 2015 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Stephen Phillips and Rev. Jonathan Randall officiating. The interment will follow at the Graniteville Cemetery. The Pallbearers will be Jeff Lowe, Paul Hawkins, Brent Johnson, James Dyches, Randy Britt and Steve Wells.
