SPRADLEY-Ms. Margie Fulmer Spradley, age 83, of Vaucluse, S.C., wife of the late Eugene D. Spradley and daughter of the late Furman Fulmer and the late Lenora Preston Fulmer, answered God’s call and went to be with Jesus on Monday, April 7, 2014. She is survived by a daughter Cheryl S. (Rickey O.) Ford of Gloverville, S.C.; sisters, Peggy Salvaggio of Williston, S.C., Geraldine Shealy of Batesburg, S.C.; brothers, Lee Clinton Fulmer of Barnwell, S.C., Furman Fulmer of Washington State and Carl Fulmer of Trenton, S.C.; a grandson, Rickey O. Ford, Jr. and a great grandson, Jaxson O’Neal Ford. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Gloria Jean Randolph and a brother, J. L. Fulmer. She was born in Batesburg, S.C. but has been a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. She was a member of Vaucluse First Baptist Church. Up to her failing health, she was an avid gardener, who always had a beautiful variety of flowers in her garden for everyone to admire. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and friend, who shall be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched during the 83 years that God granted her on this earth; however, death cannot destroy precious memories, and she shall live on forever in the hearts of her love ones. Earth’s loss is truly Heaven’s gain. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening, April 9th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A service celebrating her life and home going will be held in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home, Thursday April 10, 2014 at 2:00 PM with Rev. W. H. Bryant officiating.
