Margaret Johnson Herron

HERRON-Ms. Margaret J. Herron, age 76 of Graniteville, S. C., wife of the late Alton Herron and daughter of the late John A. and Mattie Lou Johnson entered into eternal rest on Thursday, March 3, 2011. She is survived by daughters; Linda Carroll of Warrenville, Sherrell Baughman of Gloverville, Brenda Manley of Langley and Cathy Baughman of Eureka; sisters, Iris Eubanks and Lois Goodwin both of Aiken; 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She was born in Bartow, Ga. but has been a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. She was a dedicated lifelong member and taught Sunday School for many years at Calvary Baptist Church in Graniteville. She was a homemaker, a good mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and all whose lives she touched during the 76 years that God granted her on this earth; and even now, life for her has not ended, just only begun in a better land. A service celebrating her life will be held on Sunday, March 6, 2011 at 3:00 PM at Calvary Baptist Church in Graniteville with Rev. James L. Young officiating. The interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Graniteville. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this Saturday evening, March 5th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
