MIKELL-Mrs. Mamie Duncan Mikell, age 67, of Bath, S.C., loving wife of James D. Mikell and daughter of the late Romey Duncan and the late Willie Mae Green Duncan, entered into eternal rest at her residence on Saturday, June 23, 2012. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter Shelia Everett of Louisiana; a granddaughter, Tonya Zorn; a grandson, Kyle Freeman and a great granddaughter, Lorna Freeman. She was born in and was a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. She was of the Pentecostal Faith. She was a homemaker, a loving wife, mother and “Grannyâ€, as she was so fondly known to her grandchildren. Until her failing health, she was always trying to help others in any way she could. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and all whose lives she touched during the 67 years that God granted her on this earth; however, life for Mamie has not ended, as God has promised eternal life for all who believe in Him. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening, June 27th from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. A service celebrating her life and home going will be held on Thursday, June 28, 2012 at 5:00 PM in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home with Rev. Cecil Goff and Rev. Walter Smith officiating. The interment will follow at the Graniteville Cemetery. The pallbearers will be Randall Cochran, Tommy Gillam, Glennon Still, Joey Edwards, Charles Beard, Danny Holsonback and Alan Cochran.
