Mrs. Mageleen W. Mundy entered into rest Monday March 13, 2023.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Julian Mundy; parents, Bennie and Annie Wood; sisters, Cleo Oswalt, Annett Wood; brothers, Homer Wood, Delma Wood, J.C. Wood, Douglas Wood, Vincent Wood, Joe Wood, Calvin Wood, Dave Wood; sons-in-law, John Hartley, Maxie Watson; and great-great granddaughter, Savanah Hope Otto.
She is survived by her daughters, Joyce Hartley, Kitty (Truman) Clamp, Carolyn Watson; sister-in-law, Geneva Wood; grandchildren, David Hartley, Belinda (Chris) Saul, Kevin (Kristi) Hartley, Wendy (Andy) Nance, Tim (Heather) Clamp; 14 great grandchildren; and 16 great-great grandchildren.
Mrs. Mundy retired from the Graniteville Company with over 50 years of service. She loved her family and friends, and enjoyed cooking and baking for anyone that wanted to eat. She was the best mother and grandmother anyone could ever ask for.
A Funeral Service, celebrating her life, will be held at the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home on Friday March 17, 2023 at 2 P.M. with Pastor Randy Wood to officiate. The burial will follow immediately at Aiken Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service.
Pallbearers will be Tim Clamp, Isaiah Boyer, Andy Nance, Chris Saul, Corey Boatwright, Leland Wood.
Honorary pallbearers will be Dean Mundy, Jimmy Mundy, Wayne Bowman, and Emmett Sheppard.
