Lyvonne "Bonnie" Lanier

Mrs. Lyvonne “Bonnie” Rhoden Lanier, age 79, went home to be with the Lord on Monday September 5, 2022 at her home.

She is survived by her beloved husband, G.W. Lanier; sons, Gary (Lisa) Lanier, Phillip (Sherry) Lanier; brothers, Tommy Rhoden, Doug Rhoden; sisters, Mary Fallaw, Phyllis Gunter, Wanda Braxton; three grandchildren, four great grandchildren, five step great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild on the way.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Eugene C. and Frances Wilson Rhoden; son, Dennis Leo Lanier; and brothers, J.E. Rhoden, Buddy Rhoden and Cecil Rhoden.

Mrs. Lanier was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a lifetime member of the Warrenville Church of God. She will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched.

A funeral service honoring her life and legacy will be held on Thursday September 8, 2022 at 4pm in the chapel of Napier Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Skelton officiating. The interment will immediately follow at the Langley Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be: Bryan Lanier, Tyler Lanier, Michael Franks, Eddie Braxton, Eric Braxton and Billy Ricks.
