GRIFFITH-Lydia Napier Griffith, age 63, of Graniteville, S.C., wife of the late McDonald “Dink†Griffith and loving daughter of Dorothy Minor Napier of Graniteville and the late Wm. Lewis Napier, entered into eternal rest on Monday, November 24, 2014. In addition to her mother, she is survived by a daughter; Tracey (Bryan) Kneece of Graniteville; a son, Ralph (Jennifer) Chapman of North Augusta and four grandchildren. She was of the Baptist Faith. She retired from Owens-Corning Fiberglas in Aiken. She was a devoted daughter, mother, grandmother and friend. She had a deep love for her family and grandchildren, and in return, she was loved very much by them. She shall be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched during the 63 years that God granted her on this earth; however, death cannot destroy precious memories, and she shall live on forever in the hearts of her loved ones. She has finished life’s journey and is now at peace with her Maker, the Lord Jesus, Christ. A graveside service, celebrating her life and home going, will be held at the Graniteville Cemetery on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Jimmy Napier officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 until 1:45 PM, at which time the funeral procession will be leaving to go to the cemetery for the service.
