Lucille Proctor

Mrs. Lucille Samples Proctor, age 96, beloved wife of 73 years to the late Jullian "Jake" Lawson Proctor, entered into rest on Monday January 20, 2025.

She is survived by her sister Sally Jernigan; daughter Ann Abear; granddaughter, Angie (Chris) Seiler; great grandchildren, Amanda (Ronnie) Adams, Sean (Emily) Seiler, Alex (Victoria Goatley) Abear, Jessica (Alex) Hughes, and Nicole Combes; great-great grandchildren, Atlas, Archer, Ryan, Nevaeh, Saylor, and John.

In addition to her husband she is preceded in death by her parents, John Wesley and Pearl Samples, son, Steve Proctor; son-in-law Alton Abear; brothers, Tom "Bud" Samples, Gordon Samples, and Morris Lee Samples; sisters, Anna Laura Saunders, and May Cowart; and grandson, Lagran Abear.

Mrs. Proctor was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church in Augusta, Ga. and was a Homemaker for many years. She will be dearly missed by all whose lives she touched.

A funeral service honoring her life will be held on Saturday February 1, 2025 at 2pm in the chapel of Napier Funeral Home & Crematory with Rev. Bert Daniel officiating. The interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Graniteville. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
