Mr. Loyd W. Hicks, age 63, entered into rest on Thursday, January 11th, 2018 at his residence. He is survived by his mother, Sarah Polatty Hicks; three step children; sisters, Lynda Hicks and Brenda Webb. He is preceded in death by his wife, Martha Anderson Hicks; father, Loyd R. Hicks. He will be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched in the 63 precious years that God granted him on this earth. A funeral celebrating his life will be conducted on Saturday, January 13th, 2018 at 2 o’clock pm in the chapel of Napier Funeral Home, with the Rev. Gene Brown officiating. The interment will immediately follow at the Langley Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Trinity Hospice for their excellent care of Mr. Hicks, and a special thanks to two very close friends; Tom and Jean Dyar.
