MORRIS-Mr. Louis F. Morris, age 85, of Graniteville, S.C., loving husband for 43 years to Annette Smith Morris and son of the late John T. Morris and the late Annette Winn Morris, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, July 22, 2014. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Valerie James of North Augusta, S.C., Suzanne Tumlinson of Griffin, Ga. and Melanie Morris of North Augusta, S.C.; brothers, Perry Napeleon Morris of Johnston, S.C. and Thomas R. Morris of Orlando, Florida; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was born in Johnston, S.C. but has been a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. He was a member of The Church of the Holy Trinity/Anglican in North Augusta, S.C. He retired from Kimberly-Clark after 24 years of dedicated service. He was a US Navy Veteran having bravely served his county during World War II. He was also a member of the American Legion Post 77 in Warrenville, S.C. He was an avid golfer. He was a loving, devoted husband, father, brother and grandfather who shall be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched during the 85 years that God granted him on this earth; however, death cannot destroy precious memories, and he shall live on forever in the hearts of his family and loved ones. He has finished life’s journey and is now at peace with his Maker. A memorial service, celebrating his life, will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2014 at the Church of the Holy Trinity in North Augusta, S.C. at 4:00 PM with Father Robert Hartley officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service. The interment will be private.
