Lottie Rish Campbelle

December 31, 1969 — October 20, 2013

CAMPBELLE-Mrs. Lottie Rish Campbelle, age 91, of Aiken, S.C., wife of the late W. M. Campbelle and daughter of the late John Andrew Rish and the late Fannie Fulmer Rish, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, October 20, 2013. She is survived by a daughter, Linda Tyler of Murrell’s Inlet, S.C; grandchildren, Travis (Jodi) Tyler of Aiken, S.C. and Bambi (Vince) Harmon of Aiken, S.C.; five great grandchildren, Aubry and Caleb Harmon, Payton, Emma Caroline and Abigail Tyler. She was preceded in death by a sister, Evelyn New and a brother, Henry Rish. She was born in and was a lifetime resident of Aiken, S.C. She was a lifetime member of Redds Branch Baptist Church in Aiken, where she was also a member of the Willing Workers Sunday School Class. During her working years, she was a dedicated employee in the Dietary Dept. of the Old Aiken County Hospital. She was a true homemaker who enjoyed sewing and cooking. Her family stated that she had a kind heart and would do anything for anybody. She really loved her Lord and Savior and her family, especially her grandchildren who she adored. She will truly be missed by all whose lives she touched during the 91 years that God granted her on this earth; however death cannot destroy precious memories, and she shall live on forever in the hearts of her family and loved ones. To be absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord, and she has completed life’s journey and is now at home with her maker. A service celebrating her life and home going will be held at Redds Branch Baptist Church on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Clint Smith officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. The family will also receive friends at the home of Vince and Bambi Harmon in Aiken, S.C. this Tuesday evening, October 22nd from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. The interment will follow the service at the church cemetery. The Pallbearers will be Tom Tyler, Dean Cooper, Laddie New, Mike New, Tommie Blackwell and Steve Brown. Wade Richardson, Jr., Charles Ashe, Jerry Blackwell, Edward Blackwell and Sonny Johnson will serve as Honorary Pallbearers. Memorials, in her memory, may be made to the Connie Maxwell Home for Children, P. O. Box 1178, Greenwood, S. C. 29648-9989.
