Loretta Gladys Bitters, age 65 went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 2, 2025. She was surrounded by family when she passed. She was a lifelong resident of Aiken, SC.
She was a loving Mother, Nannie, Aunt, Friend and a faithful follower of Jesus Christ. She is survived by her daughters, Jessica (Michael) Britt, Gloria (Rick) Galloway; Grandchildren, Ricky Lee (Hanna) Galloway Jr, Kayla Galloway, Greenli Britt, Kiya Keenan, Cashton Britt; Great Grandchildren, Keaston, Thompson and Kohlson; Brothers, Kenneth Keenan, Charles Keenan. And many, nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her Mother, Sara Bitters Ellis; Son, Thomas Michael Keenan; Granddaughter, Harley Keenan; Brother, Micheal L Keenan.
Loretta worked for Graniteville Company as a weaver for many years. She loved the color red. She always made sure everyone was taken care of and had food, she loved to cook. She made the best chicken salad and red velvet cakes. In her spare time she loved going to the yard sales, crafting, puzzles, fishing but most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was known as Nannie or Aunt Nannie to all of the kids and loved everyone whole heartedly.
Loretta will be missed dearly by her family friends.
A funeral service honoring her life will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at 2pm in the chapel of Napier Funeral Home with Pastor Gene Brown officiating. The interment will follow at the Historic Graniteville Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be: Rick Galloway, Jr., Keith Williams, Brian Busbee, Erik Galloway, Manny Nunez and Marty Galloway.
