Mrs. Lonnie Mae Kirkland Hutto, age 91, of Aiken, S.C., loving wife of Harold A. Hutto and daughter of the late Henry Kirkland and the late Cora Mae Hasting Kirkland, entered into eternal rest at her residence on Saturday, January 23, 2021. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Susan (George) Kirkland; sons, Richard Hutto and Harold E. Hutto; a sister, Joyce Simpson; grandchildren, Amy M. Hutto, Kendal T. Wall, Savannah M. Kirkland, Chloe E. Kirkland, Rebecca G. Kirkland, Melody N. Hutto, Ginger L. Hutto and Richard A. Hutto, Jr. She was born in Greenwood, S. C. but has been a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. She was a mother, homemaker and grandmother, who loved her grandchildren with all her heart and a friend to many. Her hobbies included sewing and making ceramics. She was a faithful member of Highland Pines Baptist Church in Aiken, S.C. A woman of her caliber shall be greatly missed by her family and loved ones and all whose lives she touched during the 91 years that God granted her on this earth. Death cannot destroy precious memories, and she shall live on forever in the hearts of her loved ones. Earth’s loss is truly Heaven’s gain. A graveside service, celebrating her life with Rev. Wesley Greene officiating will be held at Aiken Memorial Park on Saturday, February 6th, 2021 at 2pm.
