Lizell Sharpe Baughman

BAUGHMAN-Mrs. Lizell Sharpe Baughman, age 75, of Trenton, S.C., loving wife of Carrol M. Baughman and daughter of the late Carlton Sharpe and the late Maebelle Chavis Sharpe, entered into eternal rest on Thursday morning, September 20, 2012. In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Janice and John Saylors of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; Debra and David Pearson of Graniteville, S.C.; a sister, Linda Jones of Swansea, S.C.; half brother, Kenny Sharpe of Salley, S.C.; grandchildren, Mitchell and Donna Boatwright, Brent and Megan Pearson, Clay and Rhonda Boatwright, Jody and Kim Cowart; great grandchildren, Kinley, Landon, Kyler, Garrett, Roddy and Jonah. She was born in Orangeburg County but has lived in Aiken County for a number of years. She retired from Graniteville Company. She attended the Banner of Love Church in Aiken. She had an unconditional love for her grandchildren and family. Her favorite hobby was fishing; and yes, she could out fish the best of them. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, and she shall be greatly missed by everyone whose life she touched during the 75 precious years that God granted her on this earth. There is a consolation in knowing that life does not end with death as God has promised erternal life for all who believe on Him. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, September 22nd from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A celebration of life service will be held on Sunday, September 23rd at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home with Rev. H. Larry Jones and Rev. Ashley Hawkins officiating. The interment will follow at Aiken Memorial Park with Rev. Phillip Napier officiating. The pallbearers will be Brent Pearson, Clay Boatwright, Floyd Sharpe, Al Jeffcoat, Jeff Jones, Michael Jones and Roy Sharpe. The family would like to extend a heartfelt “Thank You” to Agape Hospice for the wonderful care that they gave their loved one during her illness.
