SMITH-Entered into eternal rest Friday, January 7, 2011, Mrs. Linda Diane Smith, age 53 of Warrenville, S.C., loving wife of Tim Smith and daughter of the late Will Leon Griffin and the late Betty Kinchen Griffin Leopard. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Tonie D. Hall of Aiken, S.C.; sons, Laverne Deloach of Portal, Ga. and Terry Deloach of Warrenville, S.C.; sisters, Sharon G. Tripp of Warrenville, S.C. and Ann Mikell of Graniteville, S.C.; a brother, Will Leon Griffin, Jr. of Lexington, S. C.; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Christopher Williams. She was born in Augusta, Georgia but has been a lifetime resident of Aiken County, S.C. She attended Langley Church of God. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren, and next to her family came her love for flowers and her animals. Needless to say, she will be greatly missed by her family, friends and yes, her animals and all whose lives she touched during the 53 years that God granted her on this earth. Life for her has not ended; she has just made a transition to her new Heavenly home. A service celebrating her life will be held on Thursday, January 13, 2011 at 2:00 PM at the Langley Church of God with Rev. Bennie E. Burton officiating. The interment will follow at the Warrenville Cemetery. The pallbearers will be Barry Smith, Lester Smith, Deno Shumpert, Heath Ellerbee, Chris McKeon and Charlie Watson. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Wednesday evening, January 12th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Mrs. Smith will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
