Linda Cooper Cauley

December 31, 1969 — October 11, 2014

CAULEY-Linda Cooper Cauley, age 63, of Aiken, S.C., daughter of the late Rev. Otis Stephen Cooper and the late Reba Herron Cooper, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, October 11, 2014. She is survived by sons, Jerry Thornton and Randy Johnson both of Aiken, S.C., Tommy (Frankie) Johnson, Jr., Darrin Johnson and Jason (Stephanie) Johnson, Sr. all of Warrenville, S.C.; brothers, Eddie (Brenda) Cooper of Kentucky and Sammy (Debbie) Cooper of Aiken, S.C.; a sister, Rebecca (Henry) Arnold of Aiken, S.C.; fourteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was born in Salley, S.C. and was a lifetime resident of Aiken County, S.C. She was a retired CNA from Mattie C. Hall Nursing Home with 25 years of dedicated service. She was a member of Bible Faith Holiness Church in Aiken, S.C. The family stated that she loved her Church and was an outstanding witness for Jesus and the miracles that he had performed in her life. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and friend who shall be greatly missed by her family and all whose lives she touched during the 63 years that God granted her on this earth; however, death cannot destroy precious memories, and she shall live on forever in everyone’s hearts. She has completed life’s journey and is now at peace with her Maker; “To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord”. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this Monday evening, October 13th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A service celebrating her life will be held at Bible Faith Holiness Church in Aiken, S.C. on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Eddie Moyer officiating. The interment will follow at the Warrenville Cemetery. The Pallbearers wlll be Stacy Cooper, Stephen Herndon, Bobby Jo Arthurs, Gilbert Day, Clay Johnson and Tommy Johnson, III. The Honorary Pallbearers will be Terry Johnson, J. J. Johnson and Obby Arthurs. Napier Funeral Home, Inc., 315 Main St., Graniteville, S.C. 29829 is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
