Lewis Gordon Duncan

Mr. Lewis Gordon Duncan, 80, entered into rest Saturday, January 29, 2022 at his home.

Born in Aiken, SC to the late William and Margaret Duncan. Lewis was a pipefitter and wielder by trade. He enjoyed working with his hands. He loved motorcycles and building them, having built his own motorcycle. Lewis also enjoyed making jewelry for others, and he was very good at it. In his younger days he also enjoyed drag racing. Lewis was strong in his faith, reading his Bible often.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jerry Duncan; and sister Pate Steer.

He is survived by his children Angela “Angie” Beasley, Deirdre “DeeDee” Long, Wendy Corder, Jeri Hunt, Lewis (Jennifer) Duncan, and Lucy (Ricky) Swilling; brothers, Lonnie Duncan, and Bubba (Judy) Duncan; sister, Judy (Ron) Jolly; and numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

A Funeral Service, celebrating his life, will be held at 1 P.M. Wednesday February 9, 2022 at the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home, with the burial to follow at The Historic Graniteville Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
