YOUNGBLOOD-Mrs. Letha DuBois Youngblood, age 86, of Graniteville, S.C., wife of the late Scott Ashley Youngblood and daughter of the late Jasper DuBois and the late Ruby Dukes DuBois Wrye, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, October 12, 2013. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Scott P. and Sandra Youngblood of Athens, Ga., six grandchildren, five great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and her dear friend and caregiver, Becky Emeneker. She was born in Savannah, Ga., but has been a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. During her working career, she was a Cashier for the A & P Grocery Store in Aiken for many years. She was a member of Mt. Beulah Baptist Church in Windsor, S.C. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend who shall be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched during the 86 years that God granted her on this earth; however, death cannot destroy precious memories, and she shall love on forever in the hearts of her friends and loved ones. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening, October 14th from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. A service celebrating her life will be held on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at 3:00 PM at Mt. Beulah Baptist Church in Windsor, S.C. with Rev. Stan Adams officiating. She will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service. The interment will follow the service at the Church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials, in Mrs. Youngblood’s memory, may be made to the American Cancer Society, 128 Stonemark Lane, Columbia, S.C. 29210.
