KNEECE-Leroy K. Kneece, age 50, of Trenton, S.C., loving husband for 30 wonderful years to Carla Johnson Kneece and son of Shirley Jones Kneece of Vaucluse, S.C. and the late Clifton Kneece, entered into rest on Saturday, December 6, 2014. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his father and mother-in-law, Carl and Patricia Johnson of Aiken, S.C.; a daughter, Serina Hazlett and her fiancée, Jimmy Derrick of Trenton, S.C.; brothers, Houston (Heather) Kneece of Vaucluse, S.C. and Kenny (Michelle) Kneece of Eureka, S.C.; a grandson, Gabriel Robert Leroy Hazlett and his kanine children, Junior and Mini. He was born in and was a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. He was a member of Eureka First Baptist Church in Eureka, S.C. He loved to drag race at Carolina Dragway, and he was very good at it too, as he had seven Track Championships under his belt to prove it. He was also a member of the International Hot Rod Association. He enjoyed just getting out riding, and one of his favorite places to go to was the mountains. He also was an avid fisherman. Up to his failing health, he was a jam-up auto mechanic by trade. He also worked at Carolina Dragway and Darlington International Dragway. After having to give up his job and his auto racing, he took over the daily household duties. His wife stated that he always had her meals on the table for her. When she got up each morning, her breakfast was always waiting for her. Now, what more could a woman ask for? He was truly a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He shall be greatly missed by his family and all whose lives he touched during the 50 short years that God granted him on this earth; however, death cannot destroy precious memories, and he shall live on forever in everyone’s hearts. Leroy has run his last race; has completed life’s journey and is now at peace with his Maker, the Lord Jesus Christ. A service, celebrating his life, will be held in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at 3:00 PM with Rev. John Arthur officiating. The interment will follow at the Vaucluse Cemetery in Vaucluse, S. C. The Pallbearers will be Robbie Willing, Henry Hall, Ron Jordan, Don Jordan, DeWayne Jones and Ricky Swilling.
