Leroy Bob Havird

HAVIRD-Mr. Leroy “Bob” Havird, age 70, of Gloverville, S. C., son of the late Jerdon Havird and the late Carrie Bell Rowe Havird entered into rest on Saturday, July 2, 2011. He is survived by a son, Robert “Jerry”( Myra) Havird of Warrenville, SC.; daughters, Melinda Havird of Elgin, S.C., Dee (Shaun) Anderson of North Augusta, S.C.; a sister, Mildred Pearson of Saluda, S.C.; six grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was born in Saluda, S.C. but has been a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. He was a retired residential contractor. He was of the Baptist faith. He was a US Army Veteran. He was a loving father and grandfather. He shall be greatly missed by his family, friends and all whose lives he touched during the 70 years that God granted him on this earth. A service celebrating his life will be held on Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at 4:00 PM in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home with Rev. Gene Wilson officiating. The interment will follow at the Graniteville Cemetery. The pallbearers will be Wayne Durden, Aubrey Len, Barney Waters, Mike Lowe, Richard Eubanks, Larry Beam, Roger McLane and Larry Moyer.
