He shall be greatly missed by his family, many friends and all whose lives he touched during the 78 precious years that God granted him on this earth; however there is a consolation in knowing that life does not end with death for the Christian, as God has promised eternal life for all who believe in Him. This world is just a dressing place where we can make our preparation for better things to come. Death cannot destroy precious memories, and he shall live on forever in the hearts of his many friends and loved ones. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening, June 24th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A service celebrating his life and home going will be held at Millbrook Baptist Church Chapel in Aiken, S.C. on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at 2:00 PM with Dr. Gary Powell officiating. The interment will follow at Aiken Memorial Park. The Men’s Sunday School Class of Millbrook Baptist Church will serve as pallbearers.
