Larry S. Boyd

BOYD-Mr. Larry S. Boyd, age 67, of Graniteville, S.C., son of the late Tollie R. Boyd, Sr. and the late Pearl Kilpatrick Boyd, answered God’s call and went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Tuesday, June 11, 2013. He is survived by sons: Larry Kip Boyd, Sr., Jeffrey Boyd, Sr. and Phillip Boyd, Sr. all of Warrenville, S.C., Bradford Boyd of Burnettown, S.C. and seven grandchildren. He was born in and was a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. He retired from Coldcreek Nursery in Aiken, S.C. He was of the Baptist Faith, ans he was a special father, who loved his family with all his heart; but above all, he loved his Lord and Savio supremely. His family stated that he enjoyed listening to the evangelists on TV, with Rev. John Hagee being his very favorite. Yes, he shall be greatly missed by his family and friends; however, God has promised eternal life for all who believe in Him, and Larry Boyd has just move to his new dwelling place in Heaven with no more pain or sorrow for all is joy and peace in that fair land. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. A graveside service celebrating his life and home going will be held at the Graniteville Cemetery on Friday, June 14, 2013 at 12:00 noon with Rev. Tony Rhodes officiating. Family and friends are asked to meet at the graveside by 11:45 AM.
