WILLIAMS-Kim Walker Williams, age 55, of Graniteville, S.C., wife of Michael Williams, Sr. and daughter of Beverly Barney Mead of Augusta, Ga. and the late Richard Mead, entered into rest on Sunday, May 25, 2014 from injuries received in an auto accident. In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by daughters, Amber Smith, Ashley Casey both of Windsor, S.C., Hope Williams, Ashley Sheppard, Wendy Sheppard all of Aiken, S.C., Stephanie Escobedo and Shannon Fogg both of Augusta, Ga.; a son, Michael DeWayne Williams, Jr. of Aiken, S.C.; sisters, Shelby Reed of N.C., Brigetta Story and Marsha Altvater both of Augusta, Ga.; a brother, Richard Mead of Augusta, Ga.; twenty grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews. She was born in Hornell, New York but has spent most of her life in Aiken County, S.C. and Augusta, Ga. She was a loving daughter, wife, homemaker, mother, sister and grandmother who shall be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched during her lifetime on earth; however, death cannot destroy precious memories, and she shall live on forever in the hearts of her loved ones. A service, celebrating her life, will be held on Monday, June 2, 2014 at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home with Rev. Clint Jackson officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. The interment will follow the service at Pine Grove Cemetery in Bath, S.C. The pallbearers will be Brad Rumbley, Keith Owens, Michael Williams, Jr., Tony Newman, Skip Horne and Samuel Adams. Memorials, in her honor, may be made to the funeral home to assist with the funeral expenses.
